Spay/Neuter Assistance Program Information
The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan is proud to be a part of Team Neuter, a cooperative effort between the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, Animal Aid, and area veterinarians. All of these volunteers come together to hold "Team Neuter Spay & Neuter clinics". We recognize that until we control the number of pets that are born in are community we will have more pets needing homes then there are available. Thousands of cats and dogs are destroyed every year in OUR community because there are not enough homes to care for them.
Team Neuter has 2 spay & neuter clincis scheduled this spring for cats. The first is May 3, 2009 at Hecht Veterinary Clinic. The second is May 30, 2009 at Wil-O-Paw Veterinary Clinic. Both clinics are open to low income and senior citizen residents in our community.
All cats receive spay or neuter, physical exam, nail trim, and 1 year rabies vaccine. Male cats are $15.00 and female cats are $25.00. FELV/FIV tests available for an additional $15.00
