AUGUST EVENTS
August 16th-21st 11am-11pm everyday. Come visit the Humane Society at the Berrien County Youth Fair!! We will
be located in our "usual" spot in the commercial barn. The Humane Society fair booth will be full of fun things to purchase, all to support our furry residents. We will have glow necklaces & bracelets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pet treats, and fun novelties for the kids all reasonably priced. Help us, help them by purchasing fair items.
DO YOU HAVE THE CUTEST PET?? The Humane Society is holding our annual Favorite Pet Photo Contest to be judged at our Berrien County Youth Fair Booth August 16th-21st. Entry fee is $5.00 per standard photo submitted. Photos may be mailed or delivered to the shelter or to our fair booth before August 21st. Be sure that you include the owner's contact information on the back of the photo. Don't forget the phone #!! Checks made payable to HSSM (Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan). Call the shelter with any questions @ 269-927-3303.

AUGUST 28TH 12PM-3PM. PET PHOTO DAY!! WALGREENS IN STEVENSVILLE LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF GLENLORD & RED ARROW HIGHWAY. BRING YOUR PET TO WALGREENS AND RECEIVE A FREE 5X7 PHOTO WITH THE PURCHASE OF AN 8X10. DONATIONS FOR THE HUMANE SOCIETY WILL BE ACCEPTED. ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED. CATS MUST BE CRATED. OUR VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ON HAND WITH OUR ADOPTABLE PETS.
August 28th 12-3pm. Stop by and visit our adoptable friends. Our volunteers will be on hand to assist you with questions about the adoption process. Don't forget to visit PetSmarts Cat room!!
We are in the process of planning events for the year 2010/2011. If you would like to sponsor and/or organize an event to benefit our furry friends, please call the shelter at 269-927-3303!
