February27 - Adoption Day: Please come visit us from Noon-2pm and visit our adoptable dogs and cats. Please remember that you can view some of our adoptable cats in the PetSmart Adoption Center every day during their business hours!
February 27 - Adoption Day: We will have volunteers at PawMart on Cleveland & Hilltop in St. Joseph from 10AM-1PM with some of our adoptable pets. Please stop by and say hi and meet your new best friend!
MARCH EVENTS
March 13- Adoption Day: Please come visit us from Noon-2pm and visit our adoptable dogs and cats. Please remember that you can view some of our adoptable cats in the PetSmart Adoption Center every day during their business hours!
March 13- Lucky Dog Dance-You Lucky Dog!(And Cat) join us at a Fun-Raising Benefit at Shadowland in St. Joseph (Below the bluff) for the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Saturday March 13th from 7:30pm-11pm. Event will include Bingo & pots o'cash prizes, dancing with "Rockin' Randy" Poole, Auction for 2 tickets and parking pass for MSU/Notre Dame Football game on September 18th, unlimited carousel rides, random lucky giveaways, snacks and a cash bar! Tickets are only $25.00 per person and can be purchased at The Humane Society, Carousel, Country Carpet Shoppe, and FuzzyButz Pet Bakery. This event is hosted by the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan and the Silver Beach Carousel Society. Shadowland is located at 333 Broad St. St. Joseph 269-982-8500 for more information please email info@silverbeachcarousel.com PLEASE Print out a flyer (click here) and tell all your Lucky Dog (and Cat) Friends about it!
March 17 -Volunteer Orientation-Do you want to make a difference for the animals in our community? Volunteering at the Humane Society of Southwestern MI is a fun and rewarding opportunity to do so. All new volunteers must attend a Volunteer Orientation Session prior to volunteering. Our session starts at 4:30 PM. Please call the shelter at 269-927-3303 to reserve a spot or if you have any questions! Remember with your help, one by one we will make a difference!
